Customers who have bought the FCD from me have been giving valuable input too. They have said that it would be better if the unit was more portable, if it could include a way to charge a battery when on the move, and the inclusion of a dual DC-Battery system. Well, I listed to you all and have now included all of these in the new 3.1 version. Anyone who is waiting for their order for a build to be fulfilled, will receive the latest 3.1 version (with all of these extras) included at no extra charge.
There is a new slant on the overall look of the unit too, but keeping in lines with the Mk3 as it was. The front panel has had an upgrade and now includes a mains or battery selector switch so both power supplies cannot be on at the same time, a sweep switch and a new radio display fascia. Cosmetically the unit looks a lot nicer too with a natural wood stain and varnish finish and control knobs, instruments are clearly marked. The wooden box is protected by metal brass-coloured corner guards . What I feel will be the most useful addition is the 5V USB connector port which will allow the 9V lithium battery to be charged up while inside the FCD. This is achieved with a nifty little voltage step up controller which can power the amplifier between 5V and 12V.
Its come a long way in just over 6 months building the device, but we are finally here at a point where I am happy with the latest version of the Mk.3 FCD. Smaller and more compact, the unit delivers more volume which is clear. I have also looked more into the make-up of the geology of the Ilkley Moor site where the Swastika Stone (Fylfot) is situated and have incorporated quartz crystal as the essential part of the devices 5th Element. I did try building a 5V version but found that it lacked the quality in amplification that I wanted the unit to have. Now the unit supports a 30W speaker system. The latest portable unit can now run on 12V with a AC to DC power supply and can be operated in the field with a DC booster battery pack for several hours. A solar panel can be added to boost longer periods of charging.
I had to be quick trying to get the first attempt at the FCD built because I was doing it all from memory of the channeling I had received. Although the layout was correct, I made a few mistakes such as placing the quartz crystal points into a sand and quartz mix. I put an electrical current through it all and soon the copper wiring was getting covered in a green sludge-like oxidisation, plus a putrid smell. I later realised there was no need for the battery power. We live and learn!
I understood that the FCD depended on a simple radio setup, but wasn't sure how to enable this at first. I had wires all over the place, a massive home-made capacitor and half-built copper induction coil. The power button was by this stage obsolete.
I placed a large dome of orgonite with a quartz crystal point in the center at the middle of the swastika stone design. This was connected up to the four satellite crystals by fine copper wires and used as a kind of natural amplifier. This idea has been incorporated and updated in the newer Mk2 unit.
The device has morphed through a number of initial changes and improvements since its inception. I was looking for a way to miniaturise the device, but essentially keep all of the original vital components. The design incorporates a sense of the Ether aligned with a vortex of quartz crystal & orgone energy. I believe this to amplify the high frequency radio waves through a simple crystal set included within the FCD. I am currently working on this now and believe that I will be able to complete this by the end of April 2017. See the blog for every development as it happens.
The FCD Mk2 takes shape in its smaller case ( a wooden box 8 cm x 8 cm. This current model will incorporate a magnetic microphone, allowing the user to speak verbally into the lid of the box. No external microphone is required!
Above: I am working on a template for the outer case design. I want to give it that older look of a radio set, but incorporate the essential 'fylfot' symbolism in it. I also intend to add two new features -a built in amp and speaker and mic input within the actual unit. This is not the complete set up design -there is still the addition of the crystal antenna's to accommodate.
The shape of the box is important to me also. I have found this one which has curved sides and is a little larger to accommodate the interior components easier. This is intended as the shape of the build for the Mk2, as apposed to the square one case above. Also, the two crystal antenna's have been reduced in size to quartz double terminated points with more copper winding on them to amplify the etheric radio wave signals. For those who live in an area where the FM signal is poor, then the unit has a connection at the back for a longer antenna and a ground. The controls on this updated unit are micro button types to give it a more modern feel.
I have decided to use a larger case, black durable plastic. This will give more room to complete the project and insert more electrical components into it. I am also changing the knob dials for smaller micro-buttons that will operate the on/off, volume, scan, etc. functions. There's also a new look to the front panel of the case.
Here is the schematic for the latest design (Mk2.1) -for the larger black plastic box version. The essential extra components are included, copper wound orgonite (2cms x 2cms), plus there is a digital FM radio, batteries compartment, internal speaker, noise reduction and reverb unit included.
